How do I submit information to the Journal of the ATS?
The Journal of the Antique Telescope Society has gained in stature as
the only venue dedicated to the history of the telescope. It is a
peer-reviewed journal printed 3-4 times per year. It is easier for the
editor if your submission is in English and electronic submissions are
always a good idea. Photos are welcome and vigorously encouraged.
Submissions are accepted at the discretion of the editor,
Robert Hambleton, and can be E-mailed directly to
him. Snail-Mail should be addressed to: ATS Journal, c/o Robert Hambleton, 18
Poplar Point Rd., Edgewater, Maryland, 20882 U.S.A. He can answer any
questions related to Journal policy.
Can I buy back issues of the Journal?
Yes, whenever available. Contact ATS Secretary
for prices and availability.
Where can I find an index to back issues issues of the Journal?
The index to back issues of the Journal of the ATS is on line and may be found on our
Journal Search.
