ATS - Membership Information
  
The Antique Telescope Society is a truly international society with close to two hundred members devoted to preserving, collecting and learning about antique telescopes, historic observatories and related equipment and materials. There are currently members in over a dozen countries. While some members are professional astronomers, historians or librarians, others are collectors, dealers and colleagues interested in antique and historically significant instruments and their histories. Virtually all share some interest in the history of science and astronomy and ATS members are known for their serious dedication to keeping the history of the telescope alive.

How much are the annual dues?

Individual and Club Memberships

  • Regular membership - 3 issues of the Journal of the Antique Telescope Society: $40
  • Two term membership - 6 issues of the Journal: $72 (save 10%)
  • Astronomy club - 3 issues of the Journal of the Antique Telescope Society: $40
  • Student (18 or under) - 3 issues of the Journal of the Antique Telescope Society: $25
  • Associate (2nd family member - Voting rights but no additional Journal): $10

Sponsors

  • Non-profit (Libraries, museums, etc.): $30
  • Contributing: $100
  • Sustaining: $250
  • Benefactor: $500

Club membership, students and sponsors receive one vote and one subscription to the ATS Journal with the same privileges as regular membership.

Just print out and complete the ATS Membership Application Form pdf Document, Word Document, or HTML page, and send it with a check or money order (in U.S. Dollars) to the ATS Secretary:
